Tightening your Peak Design mount

If your Peak Design phone mount is feeling loose or wobbly on your handlebars, follow these steps to secure the internal mechanism.

What you’ll need:

  • Allen key (3mm)

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Remove the mount from the handlebars

Using a 3mm Allen key, unscrew the two screws located on the side of the mount clamp. Once loose, remove the mount from your bike entirely.

  2. Access the internal screw

Separate the clamp from the mount's main body. Carefully remove the inner plastic cover to expose the core mechanism.

  3. Tighten the central screws

You will now see a single, silver screw inside the base of the mount body. Use your 3mm Allen key to tighten this screw firmly. This secures the mount head against the clamp connection.

  4. Reassemble the mounts

Put the plastic cover back on and position the mount body onto the clamp. Secure everything back onto your handlebars, ensuring the two side screws are tight.
