Ride Pro Tracking: become your own Bike Hunter

Ride Pro is VanMoof's subscription that unlocks advanced theft tracking tools, giving you the same capabilities as VanMoof's own Bike Hunter team.

Applies to: S3 & X3 (in-app tracking available now), S5 & A5 and S6-series (in-app tracking coming later in 2026)

What Ride Pro includes

  • In-app GPS map — see your stolen bike's location on a live map directly in the VanMoof app (S3 & X3 now; S5, A5 & S6-series later in 2026)
  • Bluetooth proximity radar — when you're nearby, the app uses Bluetooth signal strength to guide you directly to the bike's exact position
  • Last-seen alerts — get notified automatically when your bike's position updates
  • Push notifications — instant alert the moment your bike's alarm triggers (S3 & X3 now; S5, A5 & S6-series later in 2026)
  • Health app integration — sync rides to Apple Health or Google Health Connect

Ride Pro vs free tracking

All VanMoof owners get some theft tracking for free when they report their bike stolen. S3 & X3 owners receive an email tracking link; S5 and A5 owners can access tracking through My VanMoof. S6 riders see locations in-app. However, free tracking has slower update intervals, no live in-app map, and no push notifications. Ride Pro delivers faster, more accurate tracking and the Bluetooth scanner to close the final distance.

How to activate Ride Pro

  1. Open the VanMoof app
  2. Navigate to your bike's settings
  3. Tap Ride Pro and start the 14-day free trial, or enter a purchased activation code
  4. Ride Pro is active immediately — even if your bike is already stolen
Tip: You can purchase and activate Ride Pro without having your bike present. If your bike has just been stolen, buy Ride Pro online, enter the code in the app, and immediately begin tracking.

Ride Pro and Apple Find My

Once you activate Ride Pro theft tracking, Apple Find My is temporarily disabled on your bike. The two systems interfere with each other and cannot run at the same time. Always note your bike's last Find My position before switching to Ride Pro tracking.
