What is Ride Pro?

VanMoof is supercharging its Ride Pro subscription for the S6 models. Starting now Ride Pro for these bikes will see a plethora of features, with many more on the way, all designed to get the most out of VanMoof's ultimate e-bike.

First and foremost our upgraded Ride Pro subscription will help you keep your bike secure at all times. Subscribers will have access to much deeper and more granular theft tracking capabilities - on par with what our own bike hunters get. With remote alarm notifications you will be immediately notified when your alarm goes off wherever you are. Also try out the new always-on location tracking feature - keeping you posted of your rides whereabouts at all times. 

Ride Pro now makes it possible to change the colors of the halo-rings of your S6 plus it offers health app integrations on iOS and Android. Lastly our new remote bike monitoring feature allows you to keep taps of your bikes vitals at all times. 

Bike Model Availability

• VanMoof S6: You can use all Ride Pro features right now.
• VanMoof S5 & A5: We are currently assessing when we will be able to launch Ride Pro for the S5 and A5.
• VanMoof S3 & X3: Sign-up for Ride Pro for the S3 and X3 models is now closed. Riders had until April 1 2026 to subscribe and keep access to location tracking features - those that did will be able to track their bikes until they unsubscribe. For riders with these and older models it is no longer possible to take out a Ride Pro subscription. 

Ride Pro Features

Halo Light Display Customisation

Change the look of your bike. Choose your preferred color profile in the VanMoof app: Dusk, Flash, Neon, and Glass. The lights will adjust automatically for day and night.

Remote Bike Information & Status

Check your bike from anywhere using the VanMoof app:

• Battery Level: See your exact battery percentage. Get notifications when it is low, empty, or fully charged. You can also choose your own alerts between 20% and 95%.
• Security State: See if your bike is locked or if the alarm is turned on.
• Live Alerts: Get an instant notification on your phone if your bike's warning sound goes off, if the main alarm is triggered, if you leave the bike unlocked, or if someone types the wrong unlock code three times.

Advanced Theft Tracking

If your bike goes missing, Ride Pro helps you track it down.

• Location History: Look at a map in the app to see where your bike has been.
• Lockdown Mode: Marking your bike as missing immediately turns off the motor and blocks the unlock code so no one else can ride it.
• The Hunting Tab: Open a special screen to see live location updates, battery percentage, and the bike's internal temperature. Comparing this temperature to the weather outside helps you see if your bike is hidden indoors.
• Remote Signals: From your phone, you can flash the bike's lights or make it play a sound to find it when you are nearby, even if you are out of Bluetooth range.

Note: Turning on VanMoof Theft Tracking will automatically turn off Apple Find My to follow privacy rules and avoid system errors.
