Are you missing some S6 Series features in your app?

We are currently working on adding a number of app features to the newly launched S6 Series in the coming months. No action will be required on your part, they will be added automatically and we’ll contact you to let you know when significant features are added.

My bike won't connect to the app. What should I do? 

Ensure Bluetooth is enabled, you're near the bike, and the bike is awake (press any button). Try restarting the app and bike.

If your bike still won’t connect to the app, follow these steps:

1. Remove the bike from your phone’s Bluetooth devices.

2. Open the VanMoof Rider app.

• If the pairing dialog appears → the app should connect automatically.

• If the pairing dialog does not appear → close the app and continue to step 3.

3. Reset your bike by pressing and holding the power button for 15 seconds.

4. Turn on your bike by pressing the power button for 1–2 seconds.

5. Reopen the VanMoof Rider app to reconnect to your bike.

How do I get the bike out of shipping mode? 

Insert the charger or press the Power button under the top tube. Wait a few seconds without pressing again.

Can I customize the button functions? 

Yes, use the VanMoof app to configure the left and right handlebar buttons for different functions like changing power levels. Find more options in Ride Pro.
