Registering your S5 & A5

So, your new VanMoof S5 or A5 has arrived! Here we’ll help you register your bike and solve any issues you might come across when you first set up your bike.  

 

Turning on your bike

To register your bike you need to get your bike out of shipping mode. Simply insert the charger or press the Power button underneath the top tube.

 

Registering your bike

Now it’s time to register your bike! Follow the steps in the VanMoof app and accept the pairing request. 

 

Issues during registration

If you’re having trouble pairing your S5 or A5 during registration, or don’t see the pairing pop-up, you should:

  • Check if Bluetooth is turned on
  • Make sure your phone gives Bluetooth permission to the VanMoof app
  • Check your internet connection
  • Stand next to your bike with your phone
  • Restart the app 

If that doesn’t work:

  • Turn Bluetooth off and on
  • Turn Airplane mode off and on
  • Turn your phone off and on
