The VanMoof AutoHub Set is a replacement system designed for VanMoof S3 & X3. This upgrade addresses shifting issues by introducing a simplified 2-speed Autohub and e-shifter fix:

  • Replaces the original 4-speed transmission system
  • Provides a direct alternative to the original X3 E-shifter
  • Designed to minimize transmission-related error codes

Troubleshooting

Error 44 Resolution

If Error 44 persists after installation:

  • A VanMoof service partner should prevent error 44 from coming back, if Autohub package is installed correctly.
  • Reset the bike if occasional error 44 pops up. 

 

Shifting Characteristics

With the Pseudo e-Shifter:

  • Shift moment is preset at specific speed.
  • App-based shift settings will no longer affect transmission behavior.
  • Ensure your app settings align with the new fixed shift moment.
