How can I connect my VanMoof to Apple Find My?

You can add your VanMoof to the Find My app and the Find My network if your VanMoof supports the technology (Does my VanMoof support Apple Find My?).

You can pair your VanMoof with the Find My app on your iPhone or iPad in a few simple steps: 

Step 1

  • Open your VanMoof app and log in, if you haven't already. Make sure your VanMoof is unlocked and running on the latest firmware. 

Step 2

  • Please close the VanMoof App. Please ensure that the VanMoof App is fully closed and not running in the background to successfully add Apple Find My.

Step 3

  • Open the Find My app on your iOS device and tap on the ‘Items’ tab. Tap the ‘Add item’ button and quickly press the power button on the bottom of the top tube twice.

 

Step 4

  • You’ll hear a twinkling sound* and see an animation on the Matrix Display as your VanMoof connects to the Find My network. You will need to be using an iPhone with iOS 14.3 or later, an iPad with iPadOS 14.3 or later, or a Mac with Big Sur macOS 11.1 or later.

*If the twinkling sound does not start, please reset Find My by pressing the power button 5 times. 


Step 5

  • When your VanMoof is discovered, tap ‘Connect’ and follow the instructions.
